More About Titans Softball
This isn’t the only spot you’ll find the mission of the Glenview Titans Fastpitch Association (GTFA).
Our mission is simple: Provide a fun, rewarding and competitive travel softball experience with integrity. We do this with quality instruction and an emphasis on sportsmanship, teamwork and character.
You’ll see it repeatedly because it’s our core philosophy. We believe it. We live it. Sure we play to win, but not at any costs. That’s not the Titans way.
About the GTFA
Founded in 1982, the GTFA is a nonprofit organization devoted to competitive travel fastpitch softball for young women up to the age of 17. Our teams play in the North Suburban Fastpitch League (NSFPL) and generally adhere to the American Softball Association (ASA) rules and regulations.
The organization is run by a volunteer board of directors, and recognized Youth Sports Organization of the Glenview Park District.
Our Core Principles
Provide competitively experienced players who exhibit integrity and sportsmanship for the local high school softball programs;
To be inclusive, offering young ladies the opportunity to experience the sport at a young age and improve their skills as they grow;
Offer professional instruction at all levels through clinics and lessons;
Deliver an enjoyable, rewarding and valuable experience for our athletes, and;
Incorporate the ideals of “Character Counts.”
Our Code of Conduct
The GTFA is committed to a strict code of conduct for all individuals affiliated with the Titans. The board and coaches are subject to background checks. Our goal is to do our best to promote a safe environment for our players - one that fosters opportunities to have fun, build character, learn, practice sportsmanship and develop skills for pursuing healthy, ethical and responsible adult lives.
Please read our complete Code of Conduct for all players, coaches and parents.
